I used this birth comb throughout my entire labour, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, it helped me stay grounded and manage the intensity of contractions. The way the comb’s teeth pressed into my palm was incredibly effective for pain management, giving me a focal point and helping to redirect some of the discomfort. I was surprised by how something so simple could provide such strong relief and comfort. I highly recommend to anyone preparing for labour!
Love my comb and have used it for two births now and purchased many for friends. The inscription is a subtle little reminder during those tough moments. Added bonus is that the comb is great for dealing with postpartum hairloss afterwards!

I was gifted one of the pearl birth combs as part of the Seasons of Mamas birth education courses, and not only did it look beautiful but it was an absolute game changer during the birth of my second baby! If only I had it for my first too. I held onto the comb from my first contraction until the last, and think it (and the tens) were key to me not requiring other forms of pain relief! It gave me a sense of control and helped me have the physiological birth I’d hoped for. My older daughter has since commandeered it and uses it for her hair! Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
